In a time when the world is more unpredictable than ever, and people seem to only be looking out for themselves, Volkswagen wants to continue championing those who drive with an open mind, and those who care for everyone. Not only themselves.

The Idea

Tasked with showing how efficient and safe the Volkswagen Atlas’ brake assist and pedestrian monitoring features are, we came up with the idea to show that those features don’t only protect the people inside the car, but those outside it too.

And that’s how “Those Guys” came to be. A story about one of those narcissistically aloof guys going about their day just caring about themselves, until a car almost runs him over while jaywalking. But of course, the Volkswagen Atlas is built to look out for everyone’s safety, even those outside of it.
