Life is full of chaos, and chaos doesn't discriminate. No matter what you look like, where you live or what language you speak, having a big family can be tough. But having a big car like the Volkswagen Atlas can help make it a little less tough.
Volkswagen came to us wanting to market the seven-seat Atlas and connect the car to our "Drive Bigger" platform. In our minds, one of the key elements of “driving bigger” is being inclusive, and there's no car more inclusive than a car with room for everyone. We sought to create a film that painted a true-to-life portrait of day-to-day life in America through four families of different backgrounds, ethnicities and sizes. Then we used those superficial differences to help show everyone how much we all have in common with one another.
In this day and age, we focus so heavily on the 1% that makes us different from one another; we often forget to even notice the 99% that make us the same. At the beginning—and end—of the day, we're all just human beings trying to do our best. And there's room for all of us.
